What is ProcScheduler?

Process Scheduler (i.e., ProcScheduler) is an automated software batch job control system for planning, organizing, scheduling, monitoring and reporting jobs. The batch jobs can be hosted on a ProcScheduler configured machine or on a central dedicated server. The batch jobs on the central server can be scheduled remotely via a web interface or using mobile apps developed using iOS or Android.

Use Case: For example, using ProcScheduler, a retail store chain can automatically schedule batch jobs to send transaction files from each of their stores located across the country to their corporate head office or data center. The ProcScheduler can send files as per the pre-configured schedules (usually after business hours when store closes) automatically. The ProcScheduler also monitors the status of file transfers and also alerts if batch jobs fail.
